When Claude King sang to his Wife Barbara King it was the Best part of the Show , To see Barbara's eyes shine was like looking into Heavens Gate. You could see the Love that Claude had for Barbara, When I looked into the audience the crowd had this smile on thier faces an the love of that special song filled the Municipal Auditorium. Louisiana Jamboree Celebrates Claude King Day Febuary 11th 2007

On Feb 11, 2007 Claude King was inducted to the "Walk of Stars" and received many other awards including Feb 11th being dedicated as "Claude King Day" by the Mayor of Shreveport. The Cotton Dan Band back together after nearly 20 years, to play back up aagin for the man that started it all "Claude King."

The big show was at the "Shreveport Municipal Auditoruim" home of the original "Louisiana Hayride" Claude King took to the stage to a near full auditorium. Claude King received four standing Ovations. The Show was Video Taped for a future DVD release.

The Cotton Dan Band on Feb. 11 2007 included: David Daniels, Robin Vosbury, Tim Maloy, Mark Chamness, Jay King. Special added musicans: Garry Buchanan, Chet Gibson, and the fabulous James Burton jumped in to hi-light the show.

Claude Kings New CD was anounced that day, it is as show recorded in 1983 at the greatest country music radio show in the world...WWVA Wheeling Jamboree, from Wheeling West Virginia. This only released "LIVE" performance of Claude King, show features "The Cotton Dan Band" with David Daniels - Tim Maloy - John Peck and Jay King.

Official release date for the CD was Feb. 9th, 2007

I am very honored to have shared the stage with Claude King at the Municipal Auditorium home of the original Louisiana Hayride in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Backstage I shared a few moments talking with Claude King just before he stepped on the stage, It had been years sinced Claude performed on the stage at the Louisiana Hayride. The show was recorded for Live Video and will be released very soon. Check back for details.
